Terms of Service — Manage GPL

1. Service description

Manage GPL is a hosted SaaS that lets you connect WordPress sites and centrally manage premium plugin/theme updates available through the GPL Times catalog. Some features (premium one-click updates, bulk operations, activity log, uptime monitoring, whitelabel branding) require a paid subscription.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. By using Manage GPL on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

3. Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and connection tokens
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
One person/organization per account; sharing accounts violates these terms

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Connect sites you do not own or have explicit written permission to manage
Use the service to distribute malware, phishing pages, or spam
Reverse-engineer the service or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limiting, or quota enforcement
Use automated tools to scrape, mirror, or otherwise extract data beyond what the documented API permits
Resell or redistribute access to the service without our written agreement

5. Subscription, billing, refunds

Paid plans are billed annually in advance via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your billing dashboard; access continues until the end of your paid period and then downgrades to Free.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

If a payment fails, Stripe will retry the charge automatically for a few weeks and email you each time. Your features stay active during this period. If every retry fails, your subscription ends and your account drops to Free.

6. License and intellectual property

The Manage GPL service, codebase, and brand are owned by us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service per these terms.

Plugins and themes distributed through the GPL Times catalog are licensed under GPL v2 or compatible licenses. By installing them via Manage GPL, you accept the upstream license terms.

7. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced in-app where possible.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. See our Disclaimer for the full text.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including data loss, lost profits, or business interruption.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country where our company is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

12. Changes

We may revise these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders. Continuing to use the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
